Has APPR reverted to making drastic turns to compensate for tiny localizer deviations when activated? I remember when they fixed this awhile ago. It doesn’t seem like a problem exclusive to the A350 either because it’s the same on the 777 now. Anyone have tips for this?
I just tried and it seemed to work just fine.
So when you activated APPR did the aircraft make a few turns? If not, were you already directly on the localizer?
I can avoid the turns by lining up perfectly. That shouldn’t be necessary though.
I’ll be landing in SCEL in ~20 hours so if someone has an answer by then I’d appreciate it!
