APPR not working

After long flights the APPR isn’t working. One time I was activating the APPR, set the RWY after 6 flight hours and I wanted to see where will the APPR take me. It took me to the grass nerby the airport… How can I fix it? (usually in short flights its fine)

Using Autoland (APPR)

So am I need to activate APPR just when I’m established with the loclaizer?

Basically Yes, You need to intercept the localizer before activating APPR. You need to be on the glideslope :)

May i ask, did you perhaps not do it this time when it didn’t work, as you mentioned in the original post?
