App restarts when opening another app

Hi guys,

Just to make this short. Since 21.2, IF on my phone restarts almost every time when I open my music app. Really annoying when you wake up and want to listen to some music while you fly the last hour of your long haul… I missed a load of hours because of this and can’t find the problem on my phone. I removed a lot of apps, pictures etc. on my phone to clear some space but that didn’t work. Resseting my device did also not work and removing and installing IF again did also not work… (I know that IF can crash because of lack of space) But this is something that is new to me and I don’t know what to do anymore… Any tips? Maybe that one of the developers can send me a message with some tips how to prevend this in the future.

This isn’t a bug or issue with the app. Infinite Flight isn’t designed to run in the background with another app open, therefore restarts.

That’s why I use Apple Music where you can just hit the play button and the music will play on its own. Use offline music

@Declan is almost correct, but not quite :)

It’s got nothing to do with how the app is designed.
When running heavy duty applications, iOS & Android will kill applications put in the background if the system deems that the system is running low on available resources (RAM, mostly).

The best way to avoid this, is to restart your device more frequently.

Just out of interest how do you start playing your music.

Do you:

. Go out of Infinite Flight and open the Music App?

or

. Start the music from the Control Center?
