App not loading

The app often doesn’t start and keeps loading. It resolves after a day which is unreasonably long but happens again after a day or two. This has been happening more often and starting to get annoying. I had a flight today and when I landed, the airport didn’t load, I basically landed on the bare ground but was still able to communicate with ATC, and then when I ended the flight, I was unable to start a flight and then I closed the app and now the app won’t start and just keep loading!

Don’t tell me it’s an internet or device problem because I have 8 GB RAM and our internet is 300 Mbps. I’ve also reinstalled the app already and the issue persists from time to time.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues.
The app needs a stable Internet connection to work properly.
What you are describing seems like issues that may occur when the Intenet connection isn’t stable.
The servers are running without issues, so it’s either a local network issue, or an issue somewhere between IF’s servers and your location.
Please try another (Wi-Fi) network to see if that makes a difference.

Sorry to hear.
Unfortunately this is a service provider issue based on what I can see here.
It looks like you’re using PLDT, correct?

We are aware about issues between them and our data center and oh dear we have tried getting in touch with PLDT to get more information about why this is happening like this intermittently but have yet to receive any replies.

So if possible, it would definitely be prudent to try what Jan suggested above - a different connectivity source if possible.

I’ve forwarded it to our Datacenter provider.
This issue haven’t been present for a year or so, but it seems like PLDT are popping up again now the past few days as a troublemaker. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this!

Try using the app as best as you can in the mean time.

Any update regarding this? I’ve contacted our ISP and didn’t find anything wrong. They’ve also asked me to use mobile data and check if it will work, which I’ve also considered before, but IF barely starts as well. It started at one time on mobile data but was very slow and the flight couldn’t start either.

Since today is my renewal date and I’ve had enough of this connectivity issue, I had to pause my subscription earlier and longer.
