I have the same problem and I don’t know what’s going on I’ve done the same as you and nothing tells me what problems with the servers. Teeecribo from Spain and it’s very very rare
Hey there!
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing trouble loading the app. Just to be clear, neither of you are getting an error code when launching the app, it’s just a never-ending loading screen?
Can you try using a different network (e.g. switching to another WiFi network/mobile hotspot from a phone/mobile data) and see if anything changes?
Nothing, everything is the same… I’ve tried everything and it’s still the same, it tells me that it loads and has problems with the server
Nothing, it shows to me the same message as Diego is shown
Maybe it’s a problem with the language as we both have it on spanish, but I highly doubt it
Okay, so I see you’re both getting an Error Code 8, suggesting it’s a network issue. @yenier_Rodriguez @Diego_Sanchez_Lopez, please confirm you’ve tried this option:
If you’ve tried that and it still doesn’t solve the issue, please try these additional, more advanced, troubleshooting steps:
Toggle airplane mode
– Shut down IF
– Go into airplane mode on your device for 40-60 seconds
– Turn airplane mode off. This causes your device to reconnect to your network and solves the problem for some.
VPN or Proxy
Ensure you are not on a VPN network or behind a proxy. These will often block the necessary UDP ports for a successful connection to the live server.
Reset device network settings
iOS
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.
Android
From the Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Apps icon > Settings > Backup and reset
Tap Reset network settings.
Tap RESET SETTINGS.
If applicable, enter the PIN, password, fingerprint or pattern then tap RESET SETTINGS again to confirm.
Update wifi DNS settings
In some cases you may need to update your devices DNS settings on wifi to use google’s DNS.
iOS
Here’s how to change your iPhone’s DNS servers:
- From the iPhone’s home screen, tap Settings.
- Tap Wi-Fi. The available wireless networks in range of your iPhone appear, as shown below.
- Find your wireless network in the list, and then click the arrow.
- Tap the DNS field.
- Delete the current DNS servers, and enter the new DNS servers. (If you enter more than one DNS server, be sure sure to separate the servers with commas.)
- To use Google DNS, enter 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- Re-launch IF
Android
- Open the Settings on the device.
- Select “Wi-Fi”.
- Long press your current network, then select “Modify network”.
- Mark “Show advanced options” check box.
- Change “IP settings” to “Static”
- Change DNS1 to 8.8.8.8
- Change DNS2 to 8.8.4.4
- Press “Save” button, disconnect from the network, and reconnect for changes to take effect.
The DNS can only be changed while on WIFI.
Please do let us know the results of taking these steps, so we can assist you further if needed.
The language the app is set to doesn’t make a difference.
Nothing, nothing of that works, I don’t know what’s the problem
What service providers have you tried?
I’ve tried Movistar, a brand owned by Telefonica in Spain.
The same doesn’t let me, I’ve tried everything and nothing … It had happened to me once but in a short time it came back and now nothing at all … The bad thing is that if we don’t play they will lower our status I’m in the 5th I hope that when I come back I continue hahaha
We’ve seen this before and it was due to certain service providers in Spain banning certain IP-ranges to prevent illegal streaming of football games or something like that. Literally affected us a month or so ago.
Might be the same thing happening now.
Server side we’re fine. Everything is looking normal.
But I am seeing some indications that there are blocks going on in Spain right now.
So should we wait a couple of days?
We can’t say much for certain right now. But yeah, not the first time and the behaviour are quite similar:
https://www.reddit.com/r/CloudFlare/comments/1ilt5nv/movistar_telefónica_has_blocked_the_cloudflare/
(We use Cloudflare among others for certain connection related things.)
Correct now it makes more sense, it is true that now in Spain they are closing many pages that illegally broadcast football or sports… and with the explanation you just gave us I am 90% sure that it will be that problem
Yeah, looks like Cloudflare is even looking at taking legal actions because of unrelated services and sites such as ours are affected by this.
Perfect and about the time that we will be without playing … if we go down the level we have to claim or something? At least I’m in the 5
This is stupid they should fix it it’s not affecting other games … even if the network blocking might be true infinite flight should do something about it or extend our subscription period for those who are experiencing this problem
Read the Reddit post I shared.
This is affecting other services. Perhaps not ones you are using but still, it is.
Hey, I’m from Spain too and my service provider is also movistar so i’ve been having the same problem but i’ve been able to acces the app by using my phone data.
