App getting quieter

Hello. Was wondering if I could get some help fixing this: while playing Infinite Flight, the sound slowly gets quieter after around 5 minutes of flying. Existing the app and coming back temporarily fixes it but it still continues to decrease in volume. The issue seems to only occur during decent from cruise. I’ve restarted the device on multiple occasions but the issue continues to persist. Couldn’t find anything in the device settings or app settings that could be causing it.

Device: IPad Mini 5
Current system: iPadOS 26.0.1

Hi, do you mean all individual sounds decrease in volume, or you mean the, roughly, average overall noise level decreases?

Overall sound levels, both ATC and SFX, decrease over time

Check to see if you are in power saving mode… I swear that’s happened to me before and I just had to turn that off.

I can’t remember if it’s the in-app one or the iPad one.

Does it seem like the volume decrease depends at all on how intense the scenery, traffic, or ATC activity?

This was new.
Is it the app specifically or your device volume actually lowering? If you know that is. Otherwise, might be one thing to keep an eye on.

Has the issue been consistent since you installed the current version on your IPad Mini 5? (And if so, that would be about how long?)

The volume setting reminds unchanged. The sounds in Infinite Flight slowly get quieter to a point where even full volume is quiet. If you temporarily leave the app, like access the icon drop down menu for things like WiFi and Bluetooth, the sounds reset only to slowly start disappearing again.

It started happening a few months before version 26.0.1. Some time earlier Summer

I’ll have to check this but it may only occur when resuming a flight from AP+. I can quickly check this tonight. With AP+, it does it regardless of flight time or aircraft type

Checked and power saving mode was not on

I know what you are talking about. Whenever I turn AP off on short final, i notice the volume decreases.

Just did a quick flight between LAX and SLC without AP+. No issues with the sounds getting quieter

Do you notice any audio difference when Infinite Flight plays the A-10 / TBM autopilot disconnect sound?

Not really. I quickly check this on the ground though. I can take the A10 up to AP+ minimums and see if after AP+ is used if the sounds start fading
