Might be a good idea to upgrade… Unfortunately, rooting can have these kind of side effects.

Do it for the good only to have it turn around and bite you in the bee hive, i wasnt planning to upgrade yet cause i love the s4 overall

Had to reopen this topic, I now have a S6, edge running nougat 7.0 and is the same problem, I’m beginning to think it wasn’t optimised enough for nougat

So much for being isolated, s7, S4 on nougat custom ROM, S6 edge n honor 8 all nougat shares this problem

Yes I think that that’s the case.

(Note 5, Noughat, non-rooted)

JUN, 12 UPDATE:- Have this Pronlem also on my S7 Edge (Nonrooted, Nougat)

And btw, I used to have a lag on my old note 3 (Android 4.4.2) until the photo of the aircraft downloads
