Hello. The app crashes on the final of a long haul flight, but if I resume from where it was saved, will I get the xp up to before the crash?
The last time it crashed I did not get the xp for the 14 hours of flight.
Yes you will.
Actually, you did.
But the summary after a flight resume will not show the stats you received for the entire flight. Just what you got between the start of the flight resume and then of the flight.
Hi, to prevent app crashing, make sure your graphics settings are suitable for your device, and I reccomend turning anti-aliasing off, just to prevent app crashing. What device do you use and what are your currrent graphics settings?
I was able to earn XP and other things from where I resumed, but not for the 14 hours I was flying before the crash.
My device is iPad gen9, iPadOS 18.3
and my graphics are all âHighâ, Anti-Aliasing Off, and 30fps.
Try setting them all to medium I do that and donât have any issues
From where was this flight?
Because looking at your log, it sure looks like you did
In regards to the crashing, I can only echo what was mentioned by @FlightAvgeek - start lowering things. If youâre especially having issues on final, start with airplane count and 3D object density. Those are the things that have impact in the low altitude scenarios.
This flight was WSSS to KSEAďźOn 16 Apr.ďź
I was able to see the part before the crash in the log and the record from where it resumed, but I only got the xp and flight time for the last 50 minutes where it resumed.
You got the flight time and the XP
As I said, the summary that is shown after a flight resume will only show the stats for that âlast legâ. Not what you received for the full flight.
I understand how the summary works.
I was under the impression that my IF profile total only reflected the rest. If there is a record there, I may have been mistaken. My apologies.
