App crash in final approach

Hey everyone! I was performing a flight from Doha OTHH to Cape town FACT with a 350, and during my final approach, the app crashed and I wanted to know if the reason. I’m not sure that it’s due to my iPad as it’s 6 months old and runs the simulator without any lags but maybe I’m wrong. (it was kind of hot, but not too much soooo)
I wonder if this is a regular problem for you too guys because it’s the first time that it happens on my device.
Does the problem come from the game or maybe from my device ?
If you can answer that for me it would be really nice.

Increased crash rate (iOS only)

We are aware of a slightly increased crash rate on 19.4 with iOS. The cause of this is not 19.4 directly, but a framework used together with iOS 13 that is leaking a substantial amount of memory. The less RAM your iOS device is equipped with, the greater the risk is of being affected.
Now more than ever, the steps quoted should be followed when attempting a longer flight as it will greatly reduce the risks of experiencing a crash.

General iOS tips:

• One great thing to do before launching Infinite Flight, is to perform a soft restart of the device. This is a quick and reliable way of making sure your device is operating at peak efficiency. This is done by holding down the power/lock button until you see “Slide to power off”. Then hold down the home button until you’re returned to the home screen. For iOS devices without a Home button, a restart is recommended as the soft restart feature does not exist on those.
• Make sure you don’t have “Low power mode” on your iPhone. If you have, the battery icon in the top right corner is yellow. This can be deactivated from Settings → Battery, or from “Control Center” depending on how you have it set up. Having “Low power mode” enabled while using Infinite Flight could result in a performance degradation.
  Note : This is not the same as “Low power mode” in Infinite Flight. This is a device function.

Of course we are working hard to find a way to resolve it, but please try the steps above in the mean time.

App keep crashing after 19.4 update

hey guys so recently i just updated to 19.4 when i try the A350. my app keep crashing several times. do you know the solution?

Hey I saw a post from Laura but during the flight have the camera left on ATC mode and point it to the sky and leave it there until you need to land etc! I tried this today and my iPad was cold like how I left it for take off as then the app isn’t rendering any textures during the cruise

I haven’t tried it on long haul yet but I’m going to attempt it tonight! Hopefully this should work

That will help yes but even so, one of the best tips in the link above is to lower your aircraft count to none especially prior to arrival at an airport. It’s a big help!

Yes true I’ve done the same flight today and I landed with ease no crashes from I’ve done that
