My sincere apologies to controller at KASE today at around 15:00Zulu. Because Denver was the the only area open on expert, I foolishly decided to take an A319 from Denver to Aspen! Everything was going well and being vectored brilliantly by ATC. I was getting nervous and pressing all the wrong reply buttons and ended up on my approach far too fast and ended flight instead of announcing go around as I didn’t feel sufficiently competent at a successful landing. So apologies for wasting ATC’s time. Off to practice on solo!
