I did my first long flight using AP+. It all went well, but the replay only shows the last 35 minutes (from where the flight stopped in AP+ mode). Is this normal?

Yes that is normal.

Only the parts of the flight done “actively” are saved as replays. AP+ doesn’t get saved.

Right, but I don’t have the takeoff, climb and early cruise…
Did you finish the flight?
They will be separate replays. Did you check in the replay menu?

Yes I did. I got tye replay for that part only.
I got a replay which display the whole flight (the last one LFPG KJFK)
But when I replay, only the end shows up.
Forgot to say, this was with the latest BETA build…
Again check the replay section. There should be both of your replays.

Select replays → select one part of the flight and all parts should show orange → select which part you want the replay of.
