I’m about to land with one flight in ap+ it’s approaching it’s 30 minute mark if i join that flight and click delete would it delete my flight i’m currently flying or just the function to join it again (I have another flight i want to put on AP+ if that makes sense)
It would delete the flight completely.
so if i delete the trash button while inflight it would kick me off?
Exiting without enabling AP+ would “terminate” the flight.
I understand that part i’m just confused on the part is when i’m descending can i delete it then
When descending it’s not eligible for AP+, so yes it would be deleted when you exit.
so i can delete ap+ but can keep the flight correct?
when descending
At any one time, you can have one flight in AP+, and one flight “active”.
If you have a flight currently actively running as well as another flight currently in AP+ mode, you would need to finish the active one first before being able to interact with the one currently in AP+ mode.
Autopilot+ automatically turns itself off when it reaches 30 minutes prior to destination and effectively becomes “Flight Resume”. You can then resume it at your discretion and land. However if you have another flight active, you would need to finish that first. You can’t “switch” which flight is running in the background.
I hope that clears it up and apologies for any confusion.
Thanks it helped a lot but last question i promise can you fly simultaneously?
You can have a AP+ flight in background and a live flight at the same time, yes.
No i mean fly without ap+ at the same time
Like two live flights that you are controlling? To my knowledge, no.
Okay i see
Some people can’t even manage one flight properly. I can’t even imagine the chaos that would be for IFATC.
I’m not flying into atc for that reason
Not on the same server, no.
You can technically do two flights on the same account with two devices on different servers (e.g. one on Expert, one on Training).
