AP Lnav and HDG issue

Hey guys! I’m wondering if anybody have been noticing that right now in this version’s AP mode when turning on Lnav, the number under HDG won’t change according to the actual heading. That could result in a huge banking when turning off Lnav since the preset heading doesn’t match actual heading. That never happens before.

Device: Ipad Pro 2024
Operating system: IpadOS 26.5

This was an intentional change in 26.1 to reflect how it behaves in real life - where pilots will manually adjust the heading “bug” to their current heading.

It just means now that before you switch from LNAV to HDG mode, make sure the HDG “bug” is set to your current heading.
