Description
AP+ Bug Report – Aircraft Disappears and Flight Time Is Lost After 2–3 Hours Without Logging In
I am reporting a consistent and fully repeatable issue with AP+.
What Happens
After logging off, the aircraft continues flying normally in the simulator and follows the correct flight plan exactly as expected.
However, after approximately 2–3 hours, if you do not log back in to refresh the session, tracking stops completely.
This results in two major problems:
- Complete Aircraft Disappearance
• The aircraft disappears from the multiplayer map
• Other users cannot see you at all
• You do not appear on Infinite Tracker
• No live tracking data exists
The aircraft essentially becomes a ghost/off-radar plane. It is still flying in the simulator, but on the network it does not exist.
- Flight Time Loss
• Flight time stops recording entirely
• The hours flown during that period are permanently lost
• No flight path is recorded for that segment
What Happens When You Log Back In
When you log back in:
• The aircraft instantly reappears
• It is positioned exactly where it should be along the correct route
• The flight path resumes normally
However, the missing hours of flight time are not recovered.
Other users and Infinite Tracker will then show a straight line instead of the actual route flown during the disappearance period, even though the aircraft followed the correct flight plan the entire time.
Consistency
This is not an occasional issue.
It happens every single time for me and my friend after the 2–3 hour mark and is fully repeatable.
Other users have also pointed this out to me. One user specifically noticed the exact point when the aircraft disappears after logging off, and when I tested it myself, their observation was completely accurate.
