Hi there,
I am currently halfway through QF10 LHR to PER and when I came to step climb, my flight time is showing 1hr 6. My connection to the internet is uninterrupted so I am not sure what the issue is. Also, I cannot see my flight on the Infinite Info app so I am guessing there is a data link break. I will check again on my next step climb to see if the time has updated from 1hr 10 where I left off.
I’m on descent to Perth too right now and AP+ didnt begins right after I activated it too. I did put extra waypoints after the destination airport (to reduce TOD time), Since it has been mentioned that ;
oh yes im encountering this issue too. right now im on FL360 A359 SIN-HEL, in the middle east rn, and it should already be 6h+ flight time. but when i continue to manual flight, the flight time only shows 20min something. my flight also cant be tracked with any infinite flight tracker but in the game the AP+ shows that nothing is wrong. before this i did a SIN-ZRH B77W and a flight time that should be 12-13h only shows 6h20m… BUT i noticed that this happen when you load your FPL directly from simbrief(simbrief gives you lot of waypoints)
maybe this is something related to AP+ with waypoints limit? idk
This looks a bit like something else and not the flight plan AP+ reset issue.
I’ve seen a few cases of this so far, but haven’t been able to track much down yet.
You’re simply just teleported from point A to point B. We don’t know why yet, but we’re looking into it.
Hopefully your team can track it down. It doesn’t happen all the time in my cases but with this massive flight, it would be nice to see the final flight time
I’ve been dealing with this since yesterday. On the long haul, it only read for about 20–30 minutes when I got back to the flight. I had a pretty complete flight plan imported from Simbrief, including the SID and STAR.
I remember this problem happening a few months ago, and Cameron was the one who fixed it then. Hopefully, it’s a different issue this time and will be resolved quickly.
Same issue happened with me yesterday. Flight time was recorded perfectly until after the first step climb after which it recorded the times which I logged in (manual time), and not the AP plus times. After AP plus the flight on tracker initially displayed ground speed at 0 knots and then proceeds to disappear off the radar.
We are seeing some issues that started approx 27 hours ago, but it shouldn’t actually affect the flights. It may however affect their visibility on the multiplayer servers.
My flight still shows as progressing but when I go back into it, my flight time is showing 15min which is no where near correct. That 15min was my initial take off and climb to cruising.
As you mentioned, the problem isn’t affecting the flights (except for 2 things). The flight progresses and reaches 30 min before ETA, where we can resume it as normal.
The one issue as mentioned is the issue with the flight time.
The another issue, which I encountered with both flights (today and yesterday) is that the AP plus fails to follow the FPL flight path despite the LNAV being kept on before leaving the flight on AP plus. I also noticed the LNAV was disengaged after I reentered my flight (after it was on AP plus). After a few seconds, the LNAV activated automatically and resumed the flight path.
But for the entire duration of the AP plus, the plane did not fly the assigned route and just went in a straight line till 30 min to ETA or when we re enter the flight (Eg: for a step climb)
We’ll see what we can do to get this sorted asap.
It might be a bit trickier given it’s in the middle of the weekend with a lot of people away, but I’m trying to rattle the chains and see what can be done
The only flights which are gettinh affected are the ones which are on AP plus (Even then some pilots on AP plus are progressing as usual) . The pilots who are active throughout the flight do not face the above problems at all.
