As far as I know, the best fix is to restart the app and hope the next 767 you spawn in with is normal. You can also try a painful and unrealistic taxi procedure, which involves applying maximim thrust to generate a pitch up, then put the engines back to idle, creating a pitch down that slams the nose gear to the ground, and, in that short time the nose gear is contacting the ground, you can steer, but this is highly not recommended - it really is a pain.
Regarding turn speed, it really doesn’t matter much. If the 767 is glitched, it won’t turn, and if it’s normal, it’ll turn as usual. As a general advice for all Legacy aircraft, remember to start the turn above 10 knots, because they seem to slow down a lot more than newer models when turning - sometimes making it impossible to start moving again with maximum rudder input.
I personally like legacy aircraft, but it’s obvious that they need a rework, because for example, the 767-300 doesn’t even have a cockpit, and that’s a plane I really like, same goes for the A360 who in a better condition than the 767 but it stills needs a rework, but im sure they’ll do one since they are starting to rework old planes like the 787, I don’t know why, but I feel the 767 is the next rework in the game.
I absolutely love to fly the C-17. It is the oldest plane in the sim, but I still fly it on the regular, mostly for GAF. Praying for an updated rework soon, as it has the oldest rework feature request and has been in the sim the longest without an update. March of 2012!
Sort of. It did get a very light touch-up in 21.1 (at least I felt like it used to fly way worse before). And, of course, it also got animations (and, as a fun fact, it has constant speed flaps like the newer models, rather than constant time flaps as the other older models have).
technically everything got a touch up in that update, so still the longest without an update if you take out that small touch up that all legacy and other unreworked aircraft got
I love flying legacy aircraft, specifically the Warbirds and the C-17. I have a big love for them but also the fact they arent used often is why i fly them. they are really fun too. C-17 i fly mostly with GAF as my primary certification.
