Any tips?

If i was going to do a flight around the world, what would be some tips i should know?

My advice is:

  • Pick The 747-8 Full Fuel, no PAX/CARGO
  • Expect to make stops
  • Fly North Pole to south pole and back for a shorter flight.

First off, I love your profile pic, and second, I like the 747-8 but I was going to pick the 777-200LR because it’s smaller and has amazing range. My plan is to fly from my home airport of dfw and go all the around the world back to dfw whatever day that is.

I used the b787-9 the first trip with virgin Atlantic and then united airlines with the last one and I am about to do the last one with a BA 747

That’s pretty neat !

How many days has it taken you?

Or I might do the last flight with the virgin Atlantic b787-9 as it’s a real world flight to end it all

That’s nice! I’m hoping to do DFW-EGLL-RJAA-DFW. Or I could make it even longer and do DFW-EGLL-YPPH-YSSY-DFW. I feel like my phone would explode if I did the last option 😂

its hot, i know. and the reason i pick 747-8, is because on full fuel you can get almost 24 hours straight

That’s true

So that’s 1 fuel stop only :O
