Any tips to make it?

Hey everyone! I could really use some tips.

I’ve tried flying the Sydney-to-London route four times now, and I haven’t managed to complete it once. This latest attempt was with the maximum fuel capacity allowed for the aircraft (144,717 kg), only 50 passengers on board, and a route over the U.S., yet I still couldn’t make it.

It’s worth mentioning that I used AP+ for most of the flight while I was away doing other things. I’m starting to think that’s where the problem lies, because I can fly this route with other aircraft without any issues.

Depends! If you had favorable tailwinds, you should’ve made it, but try removing some fuel. Also, what Mach were you flying?

I usually cruise at Mach 0.84–0.85. I honestly think it’s a bug with the A350-1000 when used together with AP+. What’s strange is that none of the developers have commented on it yet, even though I’ve found multiple reports on IFC/Discord from users experiencing the exact same issue.

We’ll for now if its not working (that route) I would suggest staying away bc it doesn’t help if you keep crashing bc of fuel issues. It’s definitely a bug that they’re most likely working on.

Lighter configuration can still work, with better results

Idk then! I suppose what you said about the AP+ could be an issue but I’ve done this with no problems.

The A350K fuel calculations isnt correct as far as i know and it is being investigated.

Everyone has the same issue so do not worry it is not cause of you or how your flying!

I put in 6 extra hours on top of my 2 hr fuel reserve on a 18 hr flight and still didn’t make by a long shot. It’s not your fault, there is just something wrong with the fuel burn. I’ve never had this issue with any other plane :slightly_smiling_face:
