Another New Project

Hello IFC,
I bring you some news from the A&P mechanic life! As my mentor and I finish up the Baron, I got the opportunity to look at our next project! Our next project will be this 1967 Piper Cherokee 6 (Pa-28-300). We will be fixing it up and getting it back into operational needs so it’s safe to fly! It needs some work done on it, but hopefully I’ll be able to fly it soon!

That is wicked cool! You’ll have to post pictures once she’s operational

Good luck! Looks like a lot of fun considering the times we are in.

What engine is that? It looks like a V6 to me but obviously aviation engines are different than car engines haha

Haven’t done much flying just been working on them. I believe it is a 6 cylinder

Much like the one I fly, a PA-28!

Could’ve had your help on the first flight, 1 of the spark plugs was broken, happened to be the one for the starter. 😂

This one is 300 HP so a bit beefer and holds a lot more gas. I’m no A&P but I’m sure my mentor would have gladly helped
