I want to make a call to the members of the IF Staff to do something about the lack of professionalism and being, as their name says, an expert to fly on a server. There are many new pilots who do not do things right and break the rules. Flying on the expert server became a bad idea, and some ATCs are also regrettable.
Hello,
I understand your frustration with the current state of the Expert Server. It’s important to remember that maintaining professionalism is a continuous effort, and the IFATC team is dedicated to upholding high standards. While it can be challenging to see new pilots and ATCs struggling, it’s also crucial to recognize that everyone starts somewhere and needs time to adjust and learn.
The Expert Server is designed to offer a high level of realism and professionalism, and part of that involves guiding and supporting new members as they grow. With this being said, we can’t control every person on the server and therefore, yes, there might be some unprofessionalism. I would recommend flying to/from places with ATC as it’s easier to enforce rules when IFATC is in control. I’m sorry to hear this and I hope your experiences are better in the future.
I understand what you’re saying, but even with controlled airports, things are still done badly. It would be good to be able to do something so that these new pilots follow the rules.
I understand your concerns. Even with ATC, it can be challenging to ensure that all pilots follow the rules consistently. We do our best to help by issuing warnings to pilots who may be struggling and directing them to the user guide for further guidance. And if necessary, reports will be given out to those not following the rules.
Additionally, we have supervisors who oversee the controllers at airports to ensure a high level of service and professionalism. This is always an ongoing effort aimed at maintaining the quality of the Expert Server.
It’s a team effort, and while it can be tough, your feedback is valuable in helping us improve.
Thanks, I appreciate it. Let’s hope everything gets better.
Absolutely, let’s hope things continue to improve. If you have any more thoughts or suggestions, feel free to share. We’re all in this together, and every bit of effort helps make the Expert Server a better place for all. Thanks for your understanding!
