Hey Everyone!

I’m currently attempting to become a part of the IFATC team and many people have told me it’s beneficial to create an ATC tracking thread, so here it is!

I am currently controlling at KSSC on the Training Server. Drop by if you can, it’ll be greatly appreciated :)

Hey @KC3DLL,

I noticed you’ve joined the pattern but have entered left traffic instead of right traffic…

Good job u vectord me in very nicely (I’ll be back for more dw abt it)
The only complaint is maybe I was doing something wrong is that u said I cld taxi to 22L but the only way to line up with 22L was me having to go down 22R (I believe) and then making a turn on the taxi way
But when I was taxing down 22R u told me to exit the runway… (I might be very wrong abt this) but once u told me to taxi to 22L and if there’s no one Cmng down 22R or anyone on final then maybe u shld have allowed me to taxi down 22R…

I believe in that case, I should have given you a back taxi command for 22R

Sorry for my noob move of Turning the wrong way… good job giving my a pattern entry to fix that and good job sequencing… only thing was I never received a clearance, other then that good job :)

Yes, sorry about that, I had to race off quickly which is why I let it slide towards the end, thanks for coming though!

There are a variety of options that could’ve happened:

  • I would’ve personally cleared you for takeoff rather than having you cross 22L;
  • Cross runway 22L, backtaxi 22R hold short of RWY 22L; or
  • Cross runway 22L, Cross RWY 22R, then taxi up to the end of 22R, cross RWY22R then hold short of 22L for takeoff.
