Welcome back to a classic tradition, where us forum spotters reflect on our past year with an end-of-year topic. I still find it crazy that I’m now going into my seventh year of spotting, but when you find something you love, you stick to it! While not as glamorous of a spotting year as my 2023, it was still super fun and I enjoyed it highly. This year, I did 34 different spotting sessions across 21 airports and one other location, with 12 of those being my first time at those airports.
Gear: Sony α7R IV & α7iii | Sony 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS & Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 VXD G2 | Sony 1.4x TC | Manfrotto Element
What a year it’s been. While I didn’t have the string of insane trips after insane trips like last year, I’m very grateful for all the places I have been able to see this year. Got some cool things planned for the next year, excited to see where it takes me.
Also, for my fellow spotters: get your shots ready because I will be running another spotting competition this year with signups being released around the New Year. Good luck have fun!
I’ve been a fan of your photos! They are professionally photographed and aesthetic. By seeing your photos, somehow I can improve my photography skills, hope one day I can be like you :)
Here are the pictures that I would like to contribute to your thread, also my favorite this year.
