Simbrief Flight Plan

Asiana operates the shortest A380 route in the world: Incheon - Narita, which ultimately sets the basis of this flight. As to why I picked ANA’s Ra Livery, well, it’s simply my favorite!

Departing from Gate 45 of Terminal 1, we’ll be using RWY34L for departure today.

Since we are incredibly light, our 4 Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engines have no problem taking us up to our cruising level of FL400.

Bye-bye Narita!

Climbing via the TETRA8 SID, we loop over Narita Airport at 13,000ft.

Can’t forget about Fuji-san!

Cruising at FL400

Some company over the Sea of Japan & Busan

Finally just a simple straight in approach to RWY33L to put into the books.

A bit short today, more stuff coming soon! c u next time!

With how slow of a descent the A380 does, it’s not as well suited for short haul as the A350/A330 or the 777 series.

But short haul wide-body flights are fun.

Big bird, little hop 🛫🛬

Very nice pictures!

It’s really surprising when you realize A380s fly 1 hour routes sometimes, especially in the middle east. 30 minutes at cruise or something?

Just Middle East things though.

Extremely high demand routes.
