An AStar taken apart!

With summer being over, our ships are returning home from the field, which means heavy maintenance time, our winter contract work starts real soon for our Airbus H-125s so we’re slowly doing a ton of maintenance here’s a shot of one in progress

Does that pipe looking thingy going down the top of the tail Cary fuel to the tail Endor something? Sorry if this is super obvious but it doesn’t look it connects to anything…

The pipe you see is the exhaust pipe, Hot air comes out from there

No, not on the engine, along the (caution informal term) stick thing that goes from the front to the back router thing…

You know, to me, it looks like there isn’t much space to carry fuel… how long can this Helicopter fly for?

Yes! Once the engine starts up both the main and tail rotor spins!
