Basic event rules

Welcome everyone! Let’s create real life traffic to infinite flight at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport EHAM. During this event, it is appreciated that each player takes a flight flown on the same day and time and takes the same call sign. It is not mandatory, but this event should look like we have real life traffic coming into the sim.

During this event, there are a few rules that every player is guaranteed to follow!

  • The pilot listens to the ATC and follows his or her commands. The ATC staffing EHAM on that day are experienced controllers and they know what they are doing, it may be busy so delays may occur, but that is no reason not to listen to the controllers.

  • Again, it is not mandatory but is appreciated if you take a flight that has the same time of departure and takes the same call sign + type of aircraft. That way you make sure it’s a real realistic day.

    Summary:
    In a nutshell, this event is designed to ensure that we have a full day of full coverage at EHAM and EHAA. In addition that all players (as much as possible) take a flight that is exactly the same as in real life, i.e. the same aircraft type, call sign, time and final destination. People can fly from Schiphol but also fly to Schiphol. This event will last a whole day, from 08:00 local amsterdam time until 23:00 local amsterdam time there will be ATC online at Amsterdam. This is controlled by several people from IFATC.

Airport: EHAM, you can fly from out of EHAM or to EHAM, it is your choice

Time: 06:00ZULU - 21:00ZULU (08:00 local time Amsterdam - 23:00 local time Amsterdam

ATC CONTROLLER

The ATC will be assigned the day on the event. This will be finished by IFATC.

GATE ASSIGNMENT FOR PILOTS:

To look where your gate is located for your flight you can look at the official website of https://www.schiphol.nl/nl/. There you can see your located gate. And to have the charts of EHAM you can take a look at Charts – Dutch VACC – As Real As It Gets

Furthermore, arriving traffic there will be an gate assigned by the ground controller!

My home😍, i grew up here close to the airport always seeing the klm 747’s passing by my house🥹

Not my home exactly, but go there often to spot some planes, only 2 hours in the train to get there, but it is worth it.

I will deff be attending doing multiple flights. I’ll only use my AFKLM (VA) assigned callsign if you don’t mind :p. Other then that I’ll follow IRL routes and flights (depp times etc) taking place that day. Hope that’s allgood ") Can’t wait wishing it will be a busy event. Nice idea 🤗
