American airlines revealed their new business class cabin on their widebody aircraft today.
The new business class cabin will be in a 1-2-1 configuration with siding doors. This will help the Fort Worth based airline compete with the likes of Delta.

The airline will add more premium seats to its new business class cabin while removing their Flagship first cabin on the 777-300ER.

With the new business class cabin. American also announced a new premium economy with wider, more comfortable seats that will improve the already great existing cabin

Th planes with the new cabins will start with the 787-9s on order in 2024 and it is unclear if the existing fleet will be retrofitted.

The new A321XLRs will also be removing the flagship first suites and adding more brand new business class seats that are similar to the widebodys

There will also be a new premium economy cabin with seatback IFE screens on the A321XLR. And looking at the last picture possibly a new coach cabin, but none of that has been confirmed yet.

What do you feel about this. Do you like it? Do you need American needs to do more? I feel as this will help american compete more with the likes of Delta and other major airlines

This is definitely a step in the right direction for an airline that has made many bad ideas in the recent times maybe one day they’ll have something like United Polaris or Delta one but this is definitely a good step in the right direction

That’s a surprise after losing a huge amount of pilots in the Airline great to hear American back up on the right path

Hard Product wasn’t where the current International Flagship First fell short. Sure it wasn’t the flashiest offering in the market, but it was versatile and private enough without feeling claustrophobic. Was a huge improvement over the product it replaced and was truly innovative in the industry. Soft Product on the other hand was never great; certainly didn’t get better over time.
