American airlines revealed their new business class cabin on their widebody aircraft today.
The new business class cabin will be in a 1-2-1 configuration with siding doors. This will help the Fort Worth based airline compete with the likes of Delta.
The airline will add more premium seats to its new business class cabin while removing their Flagship first cabin on the 777-300ER.
With the new business class cabin. American also announced a new premium economy with wider, more comfortable seats that will improve the already great existing cabin
Th planes with the new cabins will start with the 787-9s on order in 2024 and it is unclear if the existing fleet will be retrofitted.
A321XLR
The new A321XLRs will also be removing the flagship first suites and adding more brand new business class seats that are similar to the widebodys
There will also be a new premium economy cabin with seatback IFE screens on the A321XLR. And looking at the last picture possibly a new coach cabin, but none of that has been confirmed yet.
What do you feel about this. Do you like it? Do you need American needs to do more? I feel as this will help american compete more with the likes of Delta and other major airlines
