I tried out one of Raleigh durhams only international flights which has an American 777-200Er operated which goes to heathrow or gatwick but I rather go for gatwick

AA uses Heathrow. Only 772’s at Gatiwck are with British Airways.

Nice photos! AA used to fly the 777 to Gatwick when RDU was their hub in the 1990s before ceasing operations of that flight later in the 90s

Now AA flyers the 777 to Heathrow from RDU but that has been put on pause due to Covid

Yep they did (although the flight time is around 7:25 but winds made it slower)
