Obviously this isn’t every route that saw an American 787-8. A lot of flexibility here, and many of these routes were never served by the 787-9.

Also why is the big bold font different

You can change a vote if you think this is better for the sim.

True, however I feel that the things I voted for I would want in the sim more than this.

I understand. People can fly the 787-9 it just would not be realistic.

I’m 99% sure the ORD Manchester route will be a -8 when it relaunches.

WOW! Venice was cut? That sucks, might of actually flown that route within the next few years.

Definitely is great for flying into smaller destinations in Europe. Had this voted for a while, and this is a MUST HAVE livery! Also would be simple but amazing to make an option for the beacon and strobes in sync.

Chicago to Manchester was cut like two years ago lol but that was a historic one so I’ll add that

Agh, I heard rumors and saw on a website that the -8 on manchester would be launched. It used to be a 767.

Yeah at one point it was on a 757 but it experienced some range issues and had to divert a few times. The 787 was probably too much capacity compared to the 757 so they ended up cutting the route. American seems to be doing well with unserved/underserved destinations out of Chicago, such as Athens and Barcelona.

A321xlr is perfect for that route. B788 will still be a route i’ll do in IF it this livery is added.

I think IF should rework the Boeing 787

Just to bump this. Really hope to see the -8 version soon!

Still hoping we’ll see this is 21.1, American has been using the -8 on so many flights out of MIA lately focusing on Central/South America, even using them on shorter 2 hour flights!

These fly I want to Central and South America in a lot of them are out of Philadelphia

They also use these a fair amount to go to lima and Amsterdam from Dallas

Little bump here, I’m not fan of only adding American liveries, but in this case I think it would be a nice addition along with LATAM 787-8 and Aeromexico 787-9 etc.

The 787 needs new liveries! Including this one of course
