I’m really excited for this one.
-
As part of their joint venture with Qantas, American Airlines will add non-stop flights between Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and Auckland (AKL) linking the New Zealand continent to a new U.S. city. The flight is operated using the 787-9 and will initially be operated three times a week before going daily.
-
They will also be the only carrier to operate between the U.S. and Christchurch. The flight will be operated with the 787-8 three times a week.
-
AA will resume its existing LAX-AKL service three weeks earlier next year.

Additionally, Qantas will increase its Sydney to Dallas/Fort Worth flight from 6 times a week to daily.
