Hello IFC, today I am making a request for the American Airlines A319 WITHOUT the sharklets.
But we already have the A319 (SL)
Although American Airlines’ (AA) addition of the A319 (SL) was an important step to being a more efficient airline. These aircraft make up less than ⅓ of AA’s A319 fleet. (This is an estimate as I could not find the exact numbers)
Currently the A319-132 is a very important part of AA’s fleet and it will still befor the next few years before American starts retiring these aircraft (😭)

The history
On July 23, 2013, AA acquired their first A319 making history. Throughout AA’s mergers and acquisitions, they acquired A319s from U.S. Airways. They also acquired A319s from even older airlines including America West.
Historical Importance of the A319
A good example of this is. In October of 1998 it was delivered brand new to America West.
Then in September of 2005 it was handed off to U.S.
In the end, because of the merger in 2013. The aircraft is now with American Airlines.
N801AW.
Overall the A319 has a long and important history in American Airlines fleet and I believe it would be a great addition to IF! It will increase realism in the simulator, expanding the details in the simulator as well.
