Well, as anyone who’s read my comment history knows, I’m a fan of the airline industry’s past as much as its present and future. From the aircraft, to the liveries, to the routes, I’m deeply interested in how air travel used to be. One of the relatively few examples we have of this in Infinite Flight is the old American Airlines livery on the 737-800, a livery adorning almost all of American’s aircraft practically unchanged from 1968 to 2013, a stretch of 45 years, one yet to be matched by any other airline. Not coincidentally, it was also the American livery I grew up on.
