This morning, I took a unique flight on American Airlines from Scranton PA to Charlotte, NC. The route connects Scranton to one of American’s major hubs. The route is operated seasonly and operates twice a day. I decided to take the earlier to give me time to get my connection in Charlotte. American ultilizes the A320-200 on this route.

My ride to Charlotte today, a beautiful A320. American uses Gates 5 and 7 here at AVP. WE are departing from Gate 5.
My seat for today, 16A. This flight was about 70% full. This was around 6:45 in the morning.
Passing by the terminal as we depart from Runway 4. There are 8 gates at AVP. Aside from American, AVP has service from Breeze, American Eagle, and United Express.
At our cruising altitude of 30,000ft for this 1 hour and 15 minute flight to CLT. There was quite a bit of turbulence during the flight so the seat belt sign was on most of the flight.
A short while later, the Sun has fully risen as we near Charlotte. The visibility will decrease as we descend.
Making our initial approach into CLT for Runway 36C.
Due to the massive snow storm impacting Charlotte, we were forced to go around on our first landing attempt as we had basically 0 visibility.
After a very bumpy flight, we touchdown on Runway 36C. Credit to the Pilots for guiding us through the storm.

After getting off, wanted to get one last shot of our A320 and caught a company A319 arriving from MDT.
