Am I doing anything wrong?

Am I at a good rate?

M0.80 is a tad slow for the 777. You want to be at around M0.83-0.84.

777 should push 0.84, and if you’re going west and not near Spain you should be at an even flight level.

And judging by your cruise pitch you’re probably too high for your weight

That’s more I think because he’s going a bit too slow.

FL350 going west would still be acceptable over the Atlantic.

I just did a flight from Gatwick to San Juan on a Boeing 777. I did the same, had my speed at 80.0 but I then sped up to 83.0.

I think he means that because a lot of flights to Spain from the Northern European countries tend to cruise at that altitude when going Southwest bound.

Altitudes over the Atlantic and in some parts of Europe seem to be all over the place lol

In addition to what everyone has said that M.84 is ideal for the 777, these and similar numbers for most planes can be found by Googling “E175 Profiles infinite flight community”, “A330 flying guide…”, etc.

Ehh… I don’t think that’s really a problem. I took a close look at his pfd and his pitch marker is sitting right above the 2.5 degree tick mark, meaning he’s at 3 degrees. It’s still acceptable for flight, prioritizing fuel savings over ground coverage (speed), but if he wants a good balance and benefit long term, then he should just increase speed like the others said.

I say that because I once took a 777 up to FL380 at M.78 and I wasn’t pitching near that angle, but lower, load was 50%

Your n1 should be around 78-80% with .80 mach. Typically 85% or less when you’re at .84-5 mach speed. What’s the oat and load?

When flying on headwinds try to stay between 440kts ground speed or fuel consumption would be way too high.
