As you may know, VAs and alliances are popping up everywhere and then randomly disappear again, if not because they are a triple duplicate of an already existing VA, then because it has no website and doesn’t follow the VA guidelines. If it does have a website then it has to be taken down because approx. 50% of VA websites have no or incorrectly formulated disclaimers, that don’t cover all of the data taken from elsewhere. VAs are part of multiple alliances, are claimed by others, are mistaken for a duplicate VA or even duplicate alliance of which they are part. VAs are being messed up with alliances and recently I saw there are also duplicate alliances…
You get the idea.
This needs to be organized. With all due respect, devs, adding a VA category is not solving the problem.
Therefore, to all owners of Alliances, please post here:
Who the owner of the alliance is
What VAs are in it
To all owners of Virtual Airlines, please post here:
Of which alliance you are part.
This is just for organizing. This must be done at some point and in my opinion we better start now. It’ll be handy for those wanting to join a VA, VAs wanting to join/exit an alliance, VAs wanting to merge etc.
Virtual Airlines And Their Status:
1. PortSide Airways’ Status:Merged with ParadiseAir.
2. Flybe Virtual Airlines’ Status:Open and running.
No it’s not your fault. It’s just the stupidity of people creating duplicate VAs without looking, or even duplicate alliances. There’s gonna be people ignoring this topic so we won’t get any further with this.
My plan is a website with a form that all VAs and Alliances, new and old, must complete. There it can be decided if they already exist, they’re denied.
