Just voted!!! Such a beautiful livery and we need a larger Allegiant fleet! Let’s get some more votes so we can fly to even more underserved airports! :)

With the recent start of beta testing for the Max, I figured it’s a good time to bring up the one and only future Max 8-200 operator in the United States, Allegiant!

Yes would be Amazing to see the only US operator of the Max 8 -200! I still really hope they don’t overlook this livery just because there isn’t a lot of votes!

Wow that looks great. What is the difference between a MAX 8 and a MAX 8-200

The Max 8-200 is a high density version of the Max 8 that is made to hold 200 people, hence the name, 8-200. It also has an extra exit doors

So Allegiant will phase out the Airbus’ at some point? Also, why didn’t they go with the 319/320neo again?

I believe the Max is for fleet expansion. They didn’t order the Neo because the backlog of orders goes into the 2030s

Thanks! Also, do you know why JetBlue never ordered the 320neo and opted for the 321? I thought Jetblue didn’t order the 320neo was because Spirit had so many and since they were gonna merge I thought that would have solved no longer needing to order 320neos from Airbus.

Not sure actually. JetBlue recently postponed their Neo orders until later this decade due to the P&W engine issues and that they’re struggling financially. They’re suppose to receive a few more A321neos but they’ll continue to receive the A220s to replace their E190s
