I noticed this a while ago.
Moderators used to be Regulars, but now are Leaders. This happened like 15 days ago.
Why the change?

The question is, did they promote themselves?
Level 4 members are those who have shown an outstanding service to the community, and are handpicked. Leader/moderator is the same. https://meta.discourse.org/t/what-do-user-trust-levels-do/4924/7
But Moderators used to be Regulars.
Same thing. They were hand picked
Yes, but they were promoted to level 4 manually.
They were handpicked, as Moderators. All Moderators (Except Tyler) were Regulars until 15 days ago.
That’s what I just said lol
Every Mod has had their Mod tag since I joined last year, not the Regular tag. That’s how I remember that.
They had a Moderator tag, but were TL3.
The ATC mods were promoted to T4 for various reasons. We felt left out so joined in (and yes we had permission)
There are no extra permissions so it really doesn’t change anything
Who cares!

I was just curious. This topic is still better than a load of the topics on the forum.
If you don’t care there is no need to respond as a comment like this changes the whole mood and experience.
What’s a TL4?
The trust level after regular.
Never heard of it.
Idk but I heard someone unimportant got it 😡
