After almost four years of being active on this forum and within this community, I am here to say that my time has come for me to step back from IF. The staff here have given me a number of opportunities here that I am very grateful for. I cannot thank @MishaCamp enough for allowing me to become an IFVARB admin, and for @Tyler_Shelton for giving me the chance to help influence the future of IFATC through training/supervising.
I know I may not be on all of your good lists based off of what happened a few months ago, however I just want to say to everyone who I’ve worked with in the past that I truly enjoyed working alongside of all of you. I’ve made numerous friends through the IFVARB and IFATC. The great thing about IF is that they provide these communities that allow people like us to get together and share a passion for aviation.
I want to leave everyone here with one final inspiration from me. I never had thought I’d be able to become an IFVARB admin or an IFATC supervisor, however I did. That is because I got involved, put in the work, and told myself I could. Look where it got me. To all of you who don’t believe you too could hold a leadership spot in one of these organizations, take it from me, you really can. If I can go from crashing people into mountains my first month of being Radar certified to where I ended up, you can most certainly do anything. So keep your heads up and just get things done. It’ll always work out in your favor in the end.
Once again thank you to everyone who has made my IFC and IF journey great. If you would like to contact me, please shoot me a PM. I’ll only be answering them for the next 48 hours or so, so if you want to stay in touch, I’ll talk to you about that privately then.
I hope everyone stays safe, and most importantly, has a blast with the future of IF. Thanks again, and for the last time:
