All Good Things Must Come To An End

Hello IF,

After almost four years of being active on this forum and within this community, I am here to say that my time has come for me to step back from IF. The staff here have given me a number of opportunities here that I am very grateful for. I cannot thank @MishaCamp enough for allowing me to become an IFVARB admin, and for @Tyler_Shelton for giving me the chance to help influence the future of IFATC through training/supervising.

I know I may not be on all of your good lists based off of what happened a few months ago, however I just want to say to everyone who I’ve worked with in the past that I truly enjoyed working alongside of all of you. I’ve made numerous friends through the IFVARB and IFATC. The great thing about IF is that they provide these communities that allow people like us to get together and share a passion for aviation.

I want to leave everyone here with one final inspiration from me. I never had thought I’d be able to become an IFVARB admin or an IFATC supervisor, however I did. That is because I got involved, put in the work, and told myself I could. Look where it got me. To all of you who don’t believe you too could hold a leadership spot in one of these organizations, take it from me, you really can. If I can go from crashing people into mountains my first month of being Radar certified to where I ended up, you can most certainly do anything. So keep your heads up and just get things done. It’ll always work out in your favor in the end.

Once again thank you to everyone who has made my IFC and IF journey great. If you would like to contact me, please shoot me a PM. I’ll only be answering them for the next 48 hours or so, so if you want to stay in touch, I’ll talk to you about that privately then.

I hope everyone stays safe, and most importantly, has a blast with the future of IF. Thanks again, and for the last time:

Awww…I remember you were mad at me after I had opened RJTT as a brand new specialist and had provided subpar service, and then going to KATL the next day, using the tips you provided me to provide better serivce, lol.

Thanks for the help during your time here, you will be dearly missed ❤️

Your contributions here will not be forgot, and you will always be appreciated.

I hope I speak for all of us in saying that no matter who you said you were, no matter what decisions you’ve made, and no matter what future you plan. All will be understood, appreciated, and looked ahead for the better future as a whole together.

You’ve contributed here to Infinite Flight for over 4 years. That is something that we can’t be thankful enough for, and over that time gained a lot of respect. I would never drop that respect. I wish you the best of luck into the future, and hope you progress through life the way you dream!

I can’t help but be reminded of @anon95564379’s final post of the same nature. You are both one of the community “greats”. Blue skies and tailwinds, Chris.

Although we may not have talked much, I’m happy to say that you’ve been a great influence to me and others, and have contributed so much to IF and the IFC. From flying into hub airports with you in the control tower, to helping others on the IFC, you’ve given so much to IF as a whole and I can’t thank you enough. You’ve helped me a lot too, and I won’t forget it. Thanks for everything you do around here, and while it’s really sad for me that you’re leaving, I know that there are more important things than IF in life. Stay strong and good luck in your future endeavors. Farewell Chris, I’ll miss you around here. It’s been amazing to know you. 😪👋🏻

It has been a pleasure, Chris seeing you on the forum, in the IFATC slack, and most of all active within the VA Community. Although we may have never directly spoken, it has been an honor being one of the VA’s that was given feedback by you, and to be apart of American Virtual Airlines with you. Your work, dedication, and the impact you have made on this community are overwhelming. People who you might not even know are impacted by your countless hours spent here on the forum, IFVARB, and IFATC. Your positive impact on others has created a new generation of IFATC and IFVARB members who can look up to your legacy and use what you taught them to inspire others the very same way you have. I wish you the best in life and god luck to all your future endeavors.
