LH still uses A380 to KSFO
Lufthansa currently flies the A388 to Frankfurt and an A346 to Munich. Soon, they will switch the 2 routes and send an A388 to Munich (flying on this flight in November) as well as an A346 to Frankfurt.
Then, in March 2020 I believe, Lufthansa will begin sending 748s to San Francisco on the Frankfurt route and they’ll switch with the A346.
I’m happy to see that SFO will be taking in another airline. It kinda makes up for losing Icelandair, but it’ll be nice to have Alitalia 772s flying in.
Awesome! I’m just waiting for a Rome-Perth flight so I have another 1-stop option between SFO and PER.
