This topic is for the Alaskan Airlines all black livery to be added to the 737-800.

Alaskan airlines is an airline based mostly in Seattle and Anchorage. It has a fleet of 327 aircraft. It was founded in 1932, and with a slogan of “Creating an airline people love”, it serves 116 destinations.

The 737-800 can carry a max. of 189 Passengers, and a crew of 2. Thanks to it’s 2 turbo fan engines, it can fly at a max speed of 588 MP/H, at a service ceiling of 41,000 feet, and a range of 4,000 NM. It’s first flight was in 1997, and it is still in production.

This topic is for an Alaskan Airlines 737-800 All Black livery to be added to IF.

However, since the one I linked is back from February 2016, I will flag the old one as this one is way more detailed.

Also, the livery is “Alaska Airlines.com” not “Alaska Airlines All Blacks” Thats an Air NewZealand thing.

The livery looks pretty nice on the 737! I flew on it once, and ironiclly I saw a bunch of emo teens on board.

What’s the background story behind this livery?

It’s a special livery to make their jets look cool, there doesn’t seem to be a story, I could be wrong, though…
Also to advertise their website by painting the link to it on an eye-catching aircraft…
I find it so cool!
