LATE NEWS: ALASKA AIRLINES JET BOUND FOR ANC FROM HNL FLOODS MID FLIGHT
Late last week an Alaska Airlines flight from Honolulu bound for Anchorage had a lavatory issue causing 2-4 inches of standing water to flood the aircraft as reported by a passenger. Although possibly unrelated, this incident occurred on a 737 MAX 9 which was recently scrutinized after a door panel blew off on a flight operated by the same airline.
According to reports from sources, flight attendants used paper towels and then blankets to dry up the mess. The aircraft was diverted to Honolulu, however a lack of a replacement aircraft allowed the passengers to be re-accommodated. This article linked was published a couple days after the incident which took place on Mar 28.

Not exactly news, but an interesting read:
This morning, the FAA issued a ground-stop advisory for all of Alaska Airlines’ group, including mainline Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. This was due to a system issue used to calculate the weight and balance.
The issued advisory went into effect at 7:50 local time and lasted around an hour.
A statement from the FAA.
“The carrier asked the FAA to pause the airline’s mainline departures nationwide.”
A statement from Alaska Airlines.
“This morning, we experienced an issue while performing an upgrade to the system that calculates our weight and balance.”

Hey,
I read in my email from Sea Airport about news for Alaska and Hawaiian flights and federal law says to stop the merger. I wonder.
@amaryahjohnson1996 maybe kinda like how they didn’t allow the Spirit-JetBlue merger to come to be?
It might be best for them to wait a couple of months for the president to finally change.
Possible…
I checked out it on the internet for Google information.
