Currently my favourite LCC in India… VOTED ❤️
honestly I don’t really see an different USP of theirs in the heavily competitive market and I haven’t flown with them yet. I don’t think I would even fly with them. Air India and Vistara imo provide better service.
Akasa basically aims to operate in the industry as a low cost airline. They’ve purchased 200+ MAX series aircraft (taking southwest airlines as an inspiration, if I recall correctly) and aim to increase their domestic and international network. Other airlines such as Indigo and Air India can provide tough competition but it’ll be interesting to see them grow and observe their strategy to compete with those already having a larger presence :)
Yes,they seem to be following the single aircraft type model(as most LCC’s),let’s hope they are successful like their competitor,IndiGo😉
It’s not about a different USP….it’s the things that matter. Akasa’s interior and cabin though simple is still refreshing. It’s not the boring drab that we saw on IndiGo and GoAir. Akasa’s crew doesn’t seem as tired and overworked as IndiGo’s, as amazing as those warriors are, they always look tired and affected by work life. Even the menu is such a change in Akasa. Their choice of items and presentation is something I compare with Vistara, Kingfisher and the new Air India
Just my opinion though, flew with Akasa 5 times this year alone.
Akasa’s crew is very friendly compared to Indigo and Air India’s crew, I experienced all of em this year, but Akasa was great with the price it charges
Yup,love the pop of orange!
Saw this beautiful bird on finals for RWY 27 at BOM,the orange shines wonderfully in the evening sunlight!
The orange and purple scheme looks pretty distinguishable for Akasa. It reminds me of the colour scheme for Indian Airlines, particularly at the tail section… wonder if that’s intentional in any way?
Ooh yea,now that I think of it,it does look quite similar to the iconic IA logo, intentional or not,it still looks very classy
It is a very cool livery but it would’ve been more cooler if it was on a A320neo 🤪🤪
Haha agreed
Haha I’m sure it’ll fit the NEO pretty nicely as well, though they’ll likely continue operating the MAX fleet for the foreseeable future :)
Certainly nice to see them beginning international/medium haul operations. Are there any plans for their next international destination(s) too? So far I’ve heard they were considering expanding their routes in the Middle East servicing Riyadh and Jeddah along with new routes to Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, and possibly Southeast Asia as well.
Yup,even I heard that they’re planning expansion into more Middle Eastern countries, the future certainly looks interesting for them!
Really hope Akasa Air, Jet Airways and Air India Express make it to the final livery list for IFS’ 737 MAX 8
Yup,these would be my top picks as well, also SpiceJet
Bumping this
We need this in IF 737 max that’s coming in December.
