Hello everyone!
Yesterday, I had an off-day of school! So, like any sensible avgeek would do, I went spotting.
I arrived at the KVGT Terminal expecting to go to the viewing deck, which was roped off. Google said that it closed at 4 PM, but when I asked the security guard what was up, he said it was only open from 7 AM - 2 PM. I had gotten there 25 minutes late.
So then I had to shoot over the brick wall, a little bit like Whack-a-mole.
Some CJ3 Pilots noticed me and asked if I wanted to go take some photos of their jet! I happily accepted.
Me Taking Pictures From The Wall
I decided to take an artistic form to these pictures, so let me know if you liked it!
Here is one of the first pictures I took, of the CJ3’s little engine. He and his brother propel the jet to a cruise of Mach 0.73 .
Next I did some shots of the NAV lights.
And then of the Empennage.
About the registration. The pilots were actually from Calgary! They said that in the winter months they usually fly down in the states, because people from Canada want to escape the -40 degree weather.
This was the nose section of the CJ3.

I’m leaving this one out because I don’t know if it will count towards the 10 photo limit, and not much was changed, just the colors.

This is a shot of the aircraft from more of a distance.

Well, that’s where I leave you. Thanks for taking a look at my new style of pictures!
