In real life when the pilot gets ready to taxi he/she will contact ground and tell them ready to taxi but that also say where they are taxiing out from so the controller knows where that plane is located at the airport
I don’t think this is necessary, since, when ATC has to respond, they automatically see the location. It would just add clutter to the commands and ATC SOP.
