With the recent addition of Tampa airport to the 3-D airport list I was thinking that it would be nice if we had custom models of the airport people movers for different airports these will add realism and make my experience better there are many different designs of trains for different airports so these would have to be custom designs but they could be static and would not have to be animated at least in the first iteration

In my opinion, I’m not sure there would be any practical use in working on this, as animating other vehicles such as refuelers, baggage carts, etc first would be of much more use. Nevertheless, I do agree that it would be a great idea that would look very cool if worked on!
There’s some airports that would look really weird without them though for example my home airport DFW has an entire loop around all the terminals with the people mover if they didn’t have it in the game when they add DFW it would look really weird
That is true, but animating vehicles of any sort take a lot of work/dedication from the developers, and I think from a customer appeal and business perspective, animating more practical vehicles first would work much better. In addition, other animated vehicles could work for all 3D airports as the code would be fairly similar, but for the people movers, they would only be standard to a small number of them. This isn’t to say I don’t think your idea isn’t good, as I am sure it would improve the look of airports like DFW and MIA, etc, but we do have to think about the developers and the time they devote to developing the sim for us.

I mean I guess but I don’t see the use as we wouldn’t be able to see it the overground ones are easily seen at airports well on the ramp especially at DFW my home airport
