Had this happen twice at WMKK today. I cleared the Scenery Cache and the airport appeared when I was at 4000ft.
It happens to me sometimes too… but in 21.5 iPhone 6 (not the last IF update)
Had the same issue some days ago at SCEL. But didn’t happen again. But it should be fixed anyway, because there is nothing you can do to fix it inflight. Only way is to restart IF, which means you have to end your flight

Same with me, I had to try to improvise where the runway would be and landed there

I used Autoland an ended the flight right after I stopped on the runway, taxiing with no airport loaded is almost impossible

I havent faced any issues recently…i just cleared scenery cache…i guess that fixed the problem…
I had this problem 2 times already when arriving in Doha(OTHH)
