I’m just curious unless it’s just me. But at night the airport looks really dark even with Taxi lights on. Are there any thoughts of improving the lighting because even on full view it’s very difficult to see. At least for me and I find myself changing time to day (which I don’t like changing time ) just to see the gates. Anyone else feel this way?

No there are, I’m not a professional pilot (just private), when I’ve been given approval to enter BRAVO I can see Kennedy and they definitely do. I mean, even as a pax you can the lighting from inside the plane.

Well then they should add it to the bigger airports like klax/kjfk/egil etc

To be honest on Expert I rarely see ATC at JFK or LAX. EGLL yes I do. But I agree they should improve the lighting at least at high traffic airports.

What I will say on the overhead lighting stand point. When making airports 3D we will put lampposts in where they are IRL, even at small airports (one example is RJNO). If at some point these are able to emit light this issue will be removed. Just have to wait for that, but if you feel strongly about this you can always request this feature in the #features category.

Ye there are usually no atc on kjfk and klax on expert…
Living in Ny it sucks never having them at LGA , JFK or EWR
