Airport Images

As everyone knows, the aircraft section and region section have there own images. As nice as they are, in my mind I think we should have them for airports.

What good is it?

  • Shows the airport for aircraft sizes.

  • For those who don’t know the airport, they can see its layout: Runways, parking etc.

Problems:

  • There is a lot of airports to cover: We don’t have to cover the smaller airports but only major.

So what do you think?

  • I think it would be nice
  • Na, it’s not a good idea

Perhaps a thread at RWA with air view screenshots of the major airports would be nice.

It would rid all those times I’ve had to go into the airport to check it for what aircraft sizes, and layout.

That’s why Kilt’s website is for.

Kilts website only has diagrams/schematics of the airport, not how it looks in IF. If somehow Kilts diagrams were to be integregated into IF, it would feel so realistic.

They should also tell information about the airport on live, like class and runway length.
