After B77W take off with 3000ft/m manually and I set Vertical Speed A/P then nose sink from 3000ft/m to below 2000ft/m and then nose skyrocket over 3500ft/m . This happen at every flight for months and very inconvenient but IF has never fix this issue for long time
I believe this issue is quite common among users. Often dramatic AP changes (for example 2000ft to 4000ft when you are at 3500ft) throw the AP off. This is Iâm sure one out of one thousand things IF needs to fix/work on! But for now, try your best đ!
I have this issue when configuring for approach. Especially ils interceptions. I normally have to switch ap off and fly ir down manually. Much smoother.
I used to have this issue a lot. Make sure your aircraft is trimmed correctly when you engage V/S. Youâll notice on the left of the screen there is a purple bar inside the âtrimâbox that moves as you move the elevators. The line is essentially telling you which way you need to trim the aircraft and by how much. After takeoff, if you trim the aircraft so the purple line disappears, the V/S shouldnât go crazy after you engage the AP. I just recently started doing this and I havenât had this problem nearly as much. Hope this helps!
