Airplane Liveries

This may be an extremely dumb question but I’ve always wondered this. Why do airlines always keep the wings gray. Obviously at some point the wings has to be painted so why paint them blue (southwest) or purple (wow air). It’s probably a dumb question because it’s most likely for aerodynamics but curious to hear your answer.

As far as I know they are grey to stop corrosion here’s your answer. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=3&ved=2ahUKEwi34bTmvInhAhVISxUIHdb2A4QQFjACegQIAxAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.quora.com%2FWhy-dont-airlines-paint-airplane-wings&usg=AOvVaw103CpHLCqVNKr5ujWPtjtr

It’s because of the sensors in the wings require light colors so they don’t absorb too much heat and get damaged
