Ooo this could be interesting since Contour operates a lot EAS Routes on the ERJ’s!
I did this flight in casual a year ago because I wasn’t grade 3 but this I never saw coming…

ISP is getting more love
JetBlue last minute canceled some flights they were planing to start because there wasn’t much demand for them, within the last week I think. I think we are really pushing our luck milking everything islip has got. The director herself (I think) said she believes these flights won’t last forever. I’m sure this route will be gone very soon itself sadly.
No. No. No. I would do… you don’t wanna know
Minneapolis Is Dropping 4 Routes
According to what source?
Nevermind - I see.
Delta is cutting service to Great Falls, Buffalo, Albuquerque, and Fairbanks. Fairbanks really is the only loss, since all the other destinations are also served by Sun Country.
United is continuing to expand from Tokyo, with service to Koror, Palau.
Sun Country doesn’t serve Great Falls. Very sad to see the Minneapolis route getting cut at least they still have the seasonal route to Chicago.
Yeah, definitely a bummer. At least MSP still has 3 other Montana destinations - Billings, Bozeman, and Kalispell. I can see why Great Falls was cut - the city only has around 60,000 residents, meaning there’s not a huge amount of local demand. People who are flying in to Glacier or Yellowstone National Parks are much more likely to fly into Kalispell or Bozeman.
You can also fly from Minneapolis to Missoula on both Sun country and Delta. Billings struggles with keeping certain routes even tho its the biggest city in Montana there’s just not enough demand and not being located near Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks. I know a lot of people that live in Billings will also just drive to Bozeman for better and cheaper flight options.
FINALLY a nonstop from JFK-STL
True, but Avelo is starting the same route in a few weeks, so I wonder if they will pull more profit than breeze will
New route for this Winter! Delta will connect Detroit with Liberia, Costa Rica once weekly on 737-900ERs. Always nice to see MRLB getting more service!
ASA looking to expand:
Wizz Air will be opening 8 new routes from Yerevan, starting from October! All of these are operated by the A321neo, so here’s 8 more A321neo routes you can try when it releases!
LATAM is adding two more US routes:
• Guayaquil (GYE) to New York (JFK) with 1x daily Airbus A320 (@Anthony_Gulluscio summon)
• Buenos Aires (EZE) to Miami (MIA) with 1x daily Boeing 787 (@NonStopsAviation summon)
This is exciting there definitely will be some fun flights to try out on the A321Neo!
Hey I’m going there this summer! Maybe I’ll see some more traffic
Let’s see how they do against Americans and Aerolíneas Argentinas 2x daily flights
